And they’re not exactly a healthy way to start the day.
This Peppermint Mocha Protein Shake recipe from my AHealthierU app delivers all the pepperminty, chocolatey goodness of a peppermint mocha frappuccino using healthy ingredients.
- 1 cup of your choice of milk
- 1 scoop of plant based chocolate protein powder (opt for a protein powder that is organic with close to 0g of sugar)
- A splash of peppermint extract
- 1/4 cup of ice
Optional Sugary Garnish: 2 tbsp Reddi Whip Coconut Whip Cream (10 calories per serving and 1g of sugar per serving) and one crushed peppermint candy sprinkled on top
- Blend ingredients until smooth
- Serve cold and enjoy
