Blackened Salmon with Grilled Vegetables

  • Salmon Fillet
  • Salt / Pepper
  • Fresh Thyme
  • Vegetables of Choice


  1. Season your salmon with salt and pepper and place thyme in your cast iron skillet (if you don’t have a cast iron use a steel pan should do the trick)
  2. Heat coconut oil* in your cast iron skillet on medium heat
  3. Cook the salmon, pink-side down, for several minutes until blackened; flip and cook for an additional 5 minutes (fish is cooked when it flakes easily with a fork)
  4. Grill/Char vegetables on your grill,Β  cast iron or simply bake them in the oven
