It’s apple season (my fave) and I love turning fresh-picked apples into the easiest, crunchiest snack — Baked Apple Chips! A sweet, crispy, and healthy snack for the fall… plus, your kitchen will smell like autumn while they bake.
Serves 2:
Ingredients:
- 2 Gala apples
- Dash of nutmeg (optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 225 degrees F.
2. Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
3. Cut out the core and slice the apples as thinly as you can.
4. Set the slices on the baking sheet. Then, bake in the oven for an hour, flip them over, and bake for about another hour.
5. Before serving let it cool down and consider trying a sprinkle of nutmeg on top.
